An 80 inch and larger double sink vanity is the biggest piece of furniture in a master bathroom, and it changes how the room works. Two basins with real separation between them, a full run of counter, and storage for two people instead of a shared compromise. All 61 vanities here are built from birch, never MDF or particleboard, with soft-close storage and a natural stone top.
When you need 80 inches or more
The jump from a 72 inch double to an 80, 84 or 96 inch double is not about the sinks — it is about what sits between them. Under 72 inches, two basins crowd each other and the middle counter disappears. At 80 inches and up you get a genuine landing zone in the center, drawer banks that belong to one person each, and enough width that two people can use the vanity at the same time without negotiating elbows.
This is the size range for a master or primary bathroom, a renovated ensuite with a long wall, or any bathroom where the vanity is meant to read as furniture rather than a fixture. The most common width in this band is 84 inches; if your wall cannot take that, step back to 72 inches.
Measure before you commit
At this scale, delivery and installation are as much a constraint as the wall. Measure the full wall opening and subtract clearance at both ends. Check that the path from your front door to the bathroom — hallway turns, stairwells, door frames — can physically take a cabinet this wide, since these ship fully assembled rather than flat-packed. Confirm where your existing plumbing rough-ins sit relative to the two basin positions, because a wide double often needs the drain lines moved. Standard depth is 22 inches.
Birch construction at scale
Width punishes weak materials. A vanity this wide carries a long, heavy slab of stone across its whole span, and that is precisely where pressed board fails — it sags in the middle over time and softens wherever moisture reaches a cut edge. Willow builds these cabinets from birch — solid birch frames and doors with natural wood veneer over marine-grade plywood on the larger panels, FSC-certified and never MDF or particleboard, finished with a durable low-VOC sealer.
Most mass-market vanities, including large doubles, use MDF or particleboard under the finish. Birch holds its line under a stone top, holds hardware securely across a long run of drawers, and can be refinished years later instead of replaced.
Countertops on a wide double
Quartz and natural Carrara marble are the widely available tops here, and select designs also offer quartzite or terrazzo — depending on the design, so check the individual product page for that vanity's options. Each top includes a matching backsplash and your choice of a Mitered or Cove edge. The stone ships in its own protective box and both undermount basins are set during installation.

Frequently asked questions
How wide does a double sink vanity need to be?
60 inches is the practical minimum for two basins, but 80 inches and up is where a double stops feeling compromised. At that width you get real counter space between the sinks and separate drawer storage for each person, which is why it is the standard choice for a master bathroom.
What is the most popular size for a large master bathroom vanity?
84 inches is the most common width in this range. It fits a long master bathroom wall, gives each basin its own zone with usable counter in the middle, and still leaves clearance at both ends on most walls. Measure your wall opening and confirm your plumbing rough-in positions first.
What are these large vanities built from?
They are built from birch — solid birch frames and doors, with natural wood veneer over marine-grade plywood on the larger panels, FSC-certified and never MDF or particleboard. That matters most at this width, because a wide cabinet carries a long, heavy stone top, and pressed board sags under that load and swells wherever moisture reaches a cut edge.
How do these ship, and will one fit through my house?
Cabinets ship fully assembled with insured delivery rather than flat-packed, so measure your hallways, stairwells and door frames before ordering a vanity this wide. The stone top ships separately in its own protective box and the undermount basins are set during installation.
What countertops are available?
Quartz and natural Carrara marble are the widely available options, and select designs also offer quartzite or terrazzo depending on the design. Every top includes a matching backsplash and your choice of a Mitered or Cove edge. Check the individual product page for what that vanity offers.
