Blue Bathroom Vanity
A blue vanity is only as good as the wood it is painted on. At Willow, every blue and navy vanity is hand-painted over 100% solid, kiln-dried hardwood — sides, bottoms, shelves and drawer boxes included — with zero MDF or particleboard. That matters more with color than with any other finish: big-box and even premium-branded blue vanities are almost always painted MDF or particleboard, so the first ding, splash or humid summer swells the panel and cracks the paint. Solid hardwood takes paint deeper, wears gracefully, and can be touched up or refinished for decades. This is the real solid-wood-versus-MDF wedge, and on a saturated navy or soft powder blue you can see and feel the difference.
How to choose the right blue for your bathroom
Blue reads very differently by depth and light. Deep navy (like our Hale Navy) grounds a large primary or powder room and pairs beautifully with brass or matte-black hardware and a warm marble or travertine top. Soft powder and heather blues keep smaller baths feeling open and airy against white quartz or terrazzo. North-facing rooms cool blues down, so lean warmer or mid-tone; bright south light lets you push to the moodiest navy. Because our blues are made to order across sizes 20–96 in, single and double sink, and freestanding, floating or offset layouts, you can match the exact shade to your room instead of settling for the one stocked color.
Construction and materials
Each blue vanity is built from kiln-dried hardwood with soft-close dovetail drawers reinforced with pocket-hole joinery, concealed adjustable hinges, and a low-VOC hand-painted finish. Countertops come in five materials — quartz, quartzite, marble, travertine and terrazzo — in your choice of a Mitered Edge or Cove Edge profile, pre-sealed and shipped with a matching backsplash. Everything arrives fully assembled, fast and insured, so a fragile painted piece never sits half-built on your bathroom floor.
