That is the difference that matters: most curved and "organic modern" vanities sold by big-box stores and even name brands like James Martin or Signature Hardware are MDF or particleboard wrapped in a thin oak veneer that chips, swells, and telegraphs water damage in a humid bathroom. Houston has zero MDF and zero particleboard, so the soft radius corners and reeded kick plate are cut from solid stock and finished to last for decades.
Choosing your Houston curved vanity
Houston is made to order across a wide footprint, so start with your rough opening and plumbing. For a powder room or guest bath, the 30", 36", and 42" single-sink widths keep the curved silhouette without crowding the space. In a primary bath, the 48" and 60" single-sink sizes give you a generous countertop, while the 72" and 84" models carry twin sinks for a true his-and-hers layout. Every width comes as freestanding or wall-mounted (floating), and the 36" is offered with a center, left-offset, or right-offset sink so you can steer basin placement around a window or side wall. The natural light-oak grain and minimalist brass hardware read Japandi, Scandinavian, and coastal-modern — pick a floating configuration to make a small bath feel larger, or freestanding for a warmer, furniture-like anchor.
How the Houston vanity is built
Every Houston box is kiln-dried solid white oak finished with a durable low-VOC topcoat. Drawers are soft-close dovetail boxes reinforced with pocket-hole joinery, doors ride on concealed, adjustable hinges, and select layouts add an in-drawer power outlet with USB and a tidy hair-dryer organizer. Your countertop is included and pre-sealed with a matching backsplash, available in five materials — quartz, quartzite, marble, travertine, and terrazzo — in your choice of a crisp Mitered Edge or a softer Cove Edge that echoes the cabinet's curves.
