Willow's medium wood collection gathers more than 200 bathroom vanities in the middle band of the natural wood range: warm honey, golden brown and richer teak tones that sit between pale blond woods and dark espresso finishes. Most models here are teak, alongside solid white oak in the Charlotte, Hampton and Pasadena lines and a small group of solid mango Parker vanities. Widths run from 24 in. to 84 in., in single sink, double sink, center sink and offset sink layouts, freestanding and floating.
Why medium wood holds up in a bathroom
The wood lines here are genuine hardwood, kiln-dried before assembly and FSC-certified for responsible sourcing: solid teak, solid white oak or solid mango, never MDF or particleboard. That matters in a room that swings between steam and dry air daily: pressed-board cores swell at the edges once moisture reaches them. Teak carries the highest natural oil content of the three and is the most forgiving around a basin. White oak is tighter and straighter in grain and reads cooler. Mango has the most character, with irregular figure and color variation board to board. Care is simple: wipe spills promptly, dry around the basin rather than letting water stand, and use a damp cloth with mild soap instead of abrasive cleaners.
How to narrow down 200-plus models
Start with width. The 24 in. and 30 in. models suit powder rooms and tight guest baths, 36 in. through 48 in. covers a standard single-sink bathroom, and 60 in., 72 in. and 84 in. are where two basins become comfortable. Next choose the sink layout: a center sink gives symmetry, a left or right offset sink frees up one continuous run of usable counter, and double sink models split the top between two basins. Then decide freestanding or floating. The floating Hampton, Madison and Sonoma designs wall-mount and leave the floor visible, which makes a small bathroom read larger, while freestanding models read more like furniture. Front treatment is the last filter, since several lines use reeded or fluted fronts and others are flat.
Countertops and pairing
The countertop is stone, never wood. Quartz and natural Carrara marble are the widely selectable tops, with quartzite, travertine and terrazzo offered depending on the design. Edges are cut Mitered or Cove. A white or lightly veined quartz is the most reliable partner, because it gives the grain room to be the feature. Carrara's soft gray veining cools the warmth of teak or mango without competing with it. The top ships in its own protective box and the basin is set at install, so the counter and cabinet arrive as separate packages.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as a medium wood tone?
Medium wood is the middle band of the natural range: warm honey, golden brown and teak-toned finishes sitting between pale, almost-blond woods and deep espresso or dark walnut. The practical test is contrast. A light vanity tends to disappear against a white bathroom and a very dark one tends to dominate it, while a medium tone reads warm and present without taking over.
Will a medium wood vanity clash with my tile or hardware?
Rarely, and that forgiveness is much of why medium tones are popular. They warm up white and gray tile, sit comfortably against stone, and take both warm and cool metals: brushed brass leans into the warmth, matte black creates crisp contrast, and brushed nickel or polished chrome cool the wood down. Hardware finish is set by the design rather than chosen separately, so check the product page and match your faucet and lighting to it.
How do I tell the solid wood models from the veneer ones?
Read the product title. A number of Chicago models are built as teak veneer and carry the word Veneer in the name, so they are easy to spot. The remaining models are named for their species, whether solid teak, solid white oak or solid mango, and the material is listed in the specification block on every product page.
