A 72-inch painted bathroom vanity is the anchor piece of a primary or shared bath — wide enough for a true double sink with drawer storage between the basins, or a generous single basin with a sweep of uninterrupted counter. Most mass-market vanities at this width are built from MDF or particleboard, which swells and delaminates the first time water finds a seam. Every painted vanity in this collection is built from FSC-certified birch, never MDF or particleboard, hand-finished in a designer color with soft-close doors and drawers.
Double sink or single sink at 72 inches?
Most 72-inch buyers choose a double sink — two basins with a shared bank of drawers between them, the classic primary-bath layout. A 72-inch single sink is the quieter choice: one basin, and far more continuous counter with deeper drawer runs. Both are offered here. Measure your plumbing rough-in before you decide, because a double sink needs two drains that line up with the cabinet layout.

Construction, countertops and delivery
Cabinets are built from FSC-certified birch with soft-close doors and drawers and a durable low-VOC finish, and several 72-inch designs add a built-in power outlet. Tops are quartz or natural Carrara marble, with quartzite or terrazzo available depending on the design, in your choice of Mitered or Cove edge. The countertop ships in its own protective box and the undermount basin is set at install. Vanities ship fully assembled, fast and insured.

72-Inch Painted Vanity FAQ
Are 72-inch painted vanities made of MDF?
No. Every painted vanity in this collection is built from FSC-certified birch — never MDF or particleboard, which is what most mass-market vanities at this width use. The painted finish is applied over real wood, so the cabinet holds up to bathroom humidity instead of swelling at the seams.
Should I choose a 72-inch double sink or single sink?
Choose a double sink if two people share the bathroom at the same time — it is the classic primary-bath layout, with a drawer bank between the two basins. Choose a single sink if you would rather have one large basin and a long, uninterrupted run of counter with deeper drawers. Confirm your plumbing rough-in first, since a double sink needs two drains that match the cabinet.
How much wall space do I need for a 72-inch vanity?
Plan for at least 74 to 76 inches of clear wall so the vanity sits with a small gap at each side, and check the door swing and any adjacent trim. Measure against the finished countertop rather than the cabinet box alone, since the top is slightly wider than the case.
What countertops can I get on a 72-inch painted vanity?
Quartz and natural Carrara marble are the widely selectable tops, with quartzite or terrazzo offered depending on the design. You choose a Mitered or Cove edge profile. The countertop ships in its own protective box and the undermount basin is set at install.
Do 72-inch painted vanities ship assembled?
Yes. The cabinet arrives fully assembled and insured rather than flat-packed, which matters at this size. Installation is limited to setting it in place, connecting the plumbing and mounting the countertop.
