Painted_36 - Single Sink

A 36-inch painted single-sink vanity is the workhorse of guest baths, hall baths and small full bathrooms — wide enough for real drawer storage without crowding a door swing or toilet. Most mass-market vanities in this size are built from MDF or particleboard, which swells and delaminates once water reaches a seam. Every painted vanity in this collection is built from FSC-certified birch, never MDF or particleboard, hand-finished in a designer color with soft-close doors and drawers.

Center sink or offset sink at 36 inches?

Thirty-six inches is the width where sink placement starts to matter. A center sink is the standard, easiest to align with a mirror and with most existing plumbing. A left- or right-offset sink pushes the basin to one side and hands you one large, genuinely usable stretch of counter — useful in a narrow bath, or when your drain is not centered on the wall. Check your rough-in before ordering: an offset layout can save you moving plumbing entirely.

Construction, countertops and delivery

Cabinets are built from FSC-certified birch with soft-close doors and drawers and a durable low-VOC finish, and several designs add a built-in power outlet. Tops are quartz or natural Carrara marble, with quartzite or terrazzo available depending on the design, in your choice of Mitered or Cove edge. The countertop ships in its own protective box and the undermount basin is set at install. Every vanity ships fully assembled, fast and insured.

36-Inch Painted Single-Sink Vanity FAQ

What are these painted 36-inch vanities built from?

They are built from FSC-certified birch — solid birch frames and doors, with natural wood veneer over marine-grade plywood on the larger panels, and never MDF or particleboard, which is what most mass-market vanities in this size use. The paint is applied over birch, so the cabinet stays stable in a humid bathroom instead of swelling at the seams.

Should I get a center sink or an offset sink?

Pick a center sink when your plumbing is already centered and you want the basin to line up with the mirror. Pick a left or right offset sink when you want one large, usable stretch of counter on the opposite side, or when your existing drain sits off-center and you would rather not move it.

How much wall space does a 36-inch vanity need?

Plan for roughly 38 inches of clear wall so the cabinet sits with a small gap at each side, and confirm the drawers and doors clear the toilet, shower door and any adjacent trim. Measure against the finished countertop, which is slightly wider than the cabinet box.

What countertops are available?

Quartz and natural Carrara marble are the widely selectable tops, with quartzite or terrazzo offered depending on the design. You choose a Mitered or Cove edge profile. The top ships in its own protective box and the undermount basin is set at install.

Do these vanities ship assembled?

Yes. Each vanity arrives fully assembled and insured rather than flat-packed. Installation is limited to setting it in place, connecting the plumbing and mounting the countertop.
