The Sonoma Teak collection is the reeded Sonoma cabinet built in solid teak — the same vertical ribbed fronts, in the one hardwood that was chosen for boat decks before it was chosen for bathrooms. Teak carries its own natural oils, which is why it shrugs off the humidity, splashes and temperature swings that destroy a mass-market vanity built from MDF or particleboard. Every Sonoma Teak vanity here is FSC-certified solid teak with soft-close storage and a stone top.
Why solid teak in a bathroom
Teak is naturally water-resistant. The same oils that make it hard to glue make it extraordinarily stable in a wet room — it does not swell, cup or delaminate the way an engineered panel does, and it ages into a deeper tone rather than failing. On a reeded front like Sonoma's, that matters twice over: every rib is an edge, and edges are where lesser materials give out first. This is why teak is the material people keep for twenty years and refinish rather than replace.
Teak tones in the Sonoma line
- Dark Natural Teak — the signature Sonoma tone: rich, warm and substantial, ideal for a spa-inspired primary bath
- Light Natural Teak — a brighter, more relaxed grain for organic-modern and coastal rooms
- Dark Walnut — a deeper, cooler natural teak tone with more contrast
Tones vary by size and layout, so check each product page for the exact finish offered.
Sizes and layouts
Sonoma Teak runs from 24 and 30 inches for powder rooms, through 36, 42 and 48 inches for guest and hall baths, up to 60, 72 and 84 inches for primary and shared bathrooms. Single-sink, double-sink, center-sink and right-offset layouts are available depending on width, and several sizes come in a floating wall-mounted version that shows more floor and lightens a smaller room. If your drain is not centered, an offset layout can save you moving plumbing.
Construction, countertops and delivery
Cabinets are FSC-certified solid teak with soft-close doors and drawers and a durable low-VOC finish. Tops are quartz or natural Carrara marble, with quartzite or terrazzo available depending on the design, in your choice of Mitered or Cove edge. The countertop ships in its own protective box and the undermount basin is set at install. Every vanity ships fully assembled, fast and insured.

Sonoma Teak Vanity FAQ
Are Sonoma Teak vanities solid teak?
Yes. The Sonoma Teak vanities in this collection are built from FSC-certified solid teak, not a painted or engineered substrate. Teak is the same hardwood used for boat decking and outdoor furniture, chosen for how it behaves around water.
Why is teak better than MDF or particleboard in a bathroom?
Teak carries natural oils that make it water-resistant, so it stays stable through humidity and splashes instead of swelling. MDF and particleboard, which most mass-market vanities use, are compressed fibers bound with glue — once moisture reaches a cut edge or screw hole they swell and delaminate permanently, and cannot be repaired.
What sizes does Sonoma Teak come in?
Sonoma Teak runs from 24 and 30 inches for powder rooms, through 36, 42 and 48 inches for guest and hall baths, up to 60, 72 and 84 inches for primary and shared bathrooms. Single-sink, double-sink, center-sink and right-offset layouts are available depending on the width.
What is the difference between Sonoma Teak and the painted Sonoma?
The cabinet shape is the same reeded design in both. Sonoma Teak is solid teak with the natural grain showing, while the painted Sonoma vanities are built from birch and finished in a designer color. Choose teak for natural warmth and water resistance, or painted when you want color.
What countertops are available on Sonoma Teak?
Quartz and natural Carrara marble are the widely selectable tops, with quartzite or terrazzo offered depending on the design. You choose a Mitered or Cove edge profile. The top ships in its own protective box and the undermount basin is set at install.
