The Character of Solid Teak
Natural grain, furniture-grade construction and a finish chosen to hold up beautifully in daily use.
A 40 to 49 inch bathroom vanity is the size most single-sink bathrooms are actually built for — wide enough for a real basin with usable counter on both sides, narrow enough to leave walking room in a standard bath. Every one of the 65 vanities in this collection is solid teak: genuine hardwood, FSC-certified, never MDF or particleboard, with soft-close storage and a stone top.
Why 40–49 inches is the single-sink sweet spot
Below 40 inches you are choosing between counter space and storage. Above 50 inches you are usually being pushed toward a double. The 40–49 inch range is where a single sink stops feeling cramped: there is room to set down everything you use in the morning, a full-depth drawer bank beside the basin, and enough cabinet underneath to hold what a family bathroom really stores. The two most-requested widths in this range are 42 inch and 48 inch — 42 for a guest or secondary bath, 48 when the bathroom can carry a piece of furniture.
Measure the wall opening first, then subtract clearance for the door swing and any trim, baseboard or side wall the vanity has to sit against. If the number lands between 40 and 49 inches, everything on this page fits.
Solid teak — and why it belongs in a bathroom
Teak is the wood boat builders and outdoor furniture makers reach for, and the reason is in the timber itself: it is dense, tight-grained and naturally rich in oils, which is exactly what you want in a room that goes from dry to steamy twice a day. Willow builds these vanities from kiln-dried solid teak so the wood is stabilized before it is ever cut, then finishes them with a durable, low-VOC sealer that protects the grain instead of hiding it.
Most mass-market vanities in this size and price range use MDF or particleboard — ground wood fiber pressed with glue, sometimes with a thin wood-look wrap over it. That is the material that swells at the toe kick, sags under a stone top and delaminates around the plumbing cutout. Real teak does none of that, and if it is ever scratched it can be sanded and refinished rather than replaced.
Countertops, storage and finish
Tops are natural stone, chosen per design. Quartz and natural Carrara marble are the widely available options across this collection, and select designs also offer quartzite or terrazzo — depending on the design, so check the individual product page for what that vanity offers. Each top is finished in your choice of a Mitered or Cove edge and comes with a matching backsplash. The stone ships in its own protective box and the undermount basin is set during installation.
Inside, drawers are soft-close, hinges are concealed and adjustable, and the cabinets arrive fully assembled with insured delivery — no flat-pack build in your bathroom.

Frequently asked questions
What size vanity fits a standard single-sink bathroom?
For most single-sink bathrooms, 40 to 49 inches is the practical sweet spot — 42 inches suits a guest or secondary bath, and 48 inches works when the room can carry a larger piece of furniture. Measure your wall opening and allow clearance for the door swing, baseboard and any side wall before choosing.
Are these vanities really solid teak?
Yes. These are solid teak vanities built from kiln-dried, FSC-certified hardwood — never MDF or particleboard, which is what most mass-market vanities use. Real teak can be sanded and refinished if it is ever marked, rather than thrown away.
Is teak a good wood for a humid bathroom?
Teak is one of the best woods for a bathroom. It is dense, tight-grained and naturally rich in oils, which is why it has long been used for boats and outdoor furniture. No wood is waterproof, so wipe up standing water, but sealed teak handles daily bathroom humidity far better than pressed board.
What countertops can I choose?
Quartz and natural Carrara marble are the widely available tops in this collection, and select designs also offer quartzite or terrazzo depending on the design. Each comes with a matching backsplash and your choice of a Mitered or Cove edge. Check the individual product page for that vanity's options.
Do these vanities arrive assembled?
Yes. Cabinets ship fully assembled with insured delivery. The stone top ships in its own protective box and the undermount basin is set during installation. You can also see and touch the teak in person at our Alpharetta and Norcross, GA showrooms.
