A floating single-sink vanity combines a wall-mounted cabinet with one basin, leaving the floor visible below. It is a practical format for powder rooms, guest baths and primary bathrooms where one sink is enough. The current collection covers widths from 24 to 72 inches, with white oak, teak and painted finish options across different design families.
Why choose a wall-mounted single vanity?
Removing visible legs or a toe kick gives the cabinet a lighter outline and keeps more flooring in view. The open space below can also simplify routine floor cleaning. Because the mounting height is planned during installation, the vanity can be positioned for the room and users rather than being limited by a fixed leg height.
The tradeoff is that the wall, plumbing and installation plan matter more. A floating vanity should not be treated like a freestanding cabinet with the legs removed. Ask the installer to review the selected model's mounting instructions, wall condition, fasteners and support before finishes are closed up.
Pick the width around the room
Start with the finished wall width and the items beside the vanity. Compact 30- and 36-inch models suit tighter rooms, while 42- and 48-inch cabinets create more counter and drawer space. Wider 60- and 72-inch single-sink designs can provide a generous work surface without adding a second basin.
- Confirm the cabinet and selected top dimensions separately.
- Check drawer travel against side walls, doors and nearby fixtures.
- Locate the drain and supply lines within the usable plumbing area shown for the model.
- Plan the finished mounting height together with the vessel or undermount sink configuration.
- Coordinate mirror, outlet and sconce locations before installation.
Storage and plumbing
One sink generally leaves more of the cabinet available for storage than two sinks of the same width, but the internal layout still varies. Compare drawer depths, door compartments and plumbing cutouts on the product page. A beautiful front elevation does not show how much space a trap or supply valve will use inside the cabinet.
Finish and countertop choices
Material, construction and included components are specific to each product. A model described as white oak, teak or a painted finish should be evaluated from its own specifications; do not assume that every vanity in the collection uses the same cabinet construction. Countertop, sink, backsplash and hardware availability also changes by model and selected variant.
