Catalina Teak 84 in Double-Sink Vanity

Catalina 84 became the centerpiece of our remodel and really does look like something out of a design magazine. The reeded front adds texture without making cleaning a chore, and the paint is impressively smooth and consistent. This isn’t flimsy cabinetry. The box is sturdy, drawers are dovetail construction, and the soft-close slides feel far better than what we’re used to from big-box brands. Our installer appreciated how the space for drains and shutoffs was planned so he didn’t need to cut into the drawers. Shipping came in a serious crate with corner protection and padding, and nothing arrived chipped or loose. Once in place, the vanity reads as a long, elegant furniture piece with truly ample storage for two product-heavy people.

Our contractor said this was one of the better-made vanities he’s installed. The plywood carcass is sturdy, the backs are clean, and everything lined up with minimal adjustment. From a user’s point of view, it looks elegant and offers ample storage where we actually need it.

Moisture resistance was a must after our old vanity swelled near the toe-kick. Catalina’s paint feels more robust. After weeks of showers, there’s no bubbling or edge lifting. The soft-close hardware keeps things quiet, and the reeded design hides small smudges better than flat fronts.

The 84-inch length worried me for installation, yet the cabinet came square and well packed. Corner protection on the crate did its job; no damage at all. Inside, the storage layout is smart, with shallow and deep drawers that keep everything accessible without cluttering the top.

Color accuracy was a big concern, but the Catalina finish matched our expectations. Under different lighting it stays consistent and high-end. Doors align, drawers glide quietly, and the whole piece feels like a long sideboard that happens to hold sinks. Plenty of storage for two people.
